A new Azure Meetup Berlin has been published.

This is the Agenda:

This Meetup is sponsored and hosted by Akelius. Their address is: Erkelenzdamm 11-13, 10999 Berlin

We will be having 2 talks and they are:

Talk 1: Tune your model better with Automated Machine Learning (ML), by Mia Chang
Automated machine learning (Automated ML) builds high-quality machine learning models, and make much easier for hyperparameter selection and deployment. In this session, we will use Automated ML improving the training process, and some tips for developing a deep learning model as well.

Talk 2: Practical Auth in a Serverless World, by Andreas Grimm
It became essential for businesses to protect their applications, services and customer data from attackers. If you want to stay competitive, knowing how to efficiently and easily apply security and auth while being aware of the most common pitfalls is key in today’s serverless world.
Traditional machine-to-machine auth approaches where you can rely on a stateful environment fall short in a modern serverless and thus stateless world.
After a short recap of some auth fundamentals, you’ll learn how to efficiently apply authentication and authorization to Azure Functions using an external Identity Provider like Auth0, OAuth 2, JsonWebTokens (JWT), the secrets management system Azure Key Vault and Azure Managed Identities without compromising security.

Sebastian is an Azure Nerd with focus on DevOps and Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS) that converted from the big world of SharePoint and O365. He was working with O365 since 2013 and loved it ever since. As his focus shifted in 2017 to more DevOps related topics in the Microsoft Stack. He learned to love the possibilities of automation. Besides writing articles in his blog and German magazines, he is still contributing to the SharePoint Developer Community (and PnP SharePoint) to help to make the ALM part a smoother place to live in.
